We promised Jed that he would get his chance to post his pictures on the blog when we got back home, so here goes! For your best satisfaction though, this is being mercifully written by one of his dear sisters.:-)
On one of our long drives on a bumpy, dirt road close to the Bolivian border, Jed suddenly spotted a Brazilian Army tank division on an open field. He asked Dad to slow down just so he could get a picture of those nice little babies. To our surprise, the soldier on guard invited us to get down and tour the "campgrounds". We (especially Jed) had a blast looking around! Our 'tourguide' was a young Sargeant who explained all about the tanks and the training they were doing. He even gave Jed one of the Army's daily ration pack. It was such a neat, once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Careful! He is... Aiming at ya!

His "ration" for the day!(it's gross, you'd better believe it!)
