Three Kids saved!!!

Update - Feb 12th

I think the post about camp may not have been very clear, so I just wanted to add along, in case some had missed it, that another girl had gotten saved the week before, at camp.
This is 9 year old Katia.

Will you please still keep her in your prayers? She traveled back to her home state of Parana today. (She was here on vacation, as her parents own a store here in Pedra 90.) They only visit a couple times a year, but she has always come to church faithfully whenever they are here. She owns a Bible which she told me she would be reading, so just pray that the seed that was planted will continue to grow in her heart. We are so happy and excited about what God is doing here! A big thank-you to all of you who pray so faithfully for us, and send encouraging notes!

We would like to share with you our rejoicing over these three young children who made a confession to accept Christ as their Saviour on Sunday!
Please pray for these lives. We know that they are young and may not always stay around, due to the unsaved families, but we also know that we serve a great God who can keep and guide His children no matter where they may be. So just pray that the Lord will keep working in their young hearts, and that we can reach their families through this.

Daniel - 8 years old

Vanessa - 9 years old

Dayane - 6 years old

"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 19:14

We have been having classes given by a sweet Irish missionary. She is teaching the ladies of the church about how to teach children. She made a comment that stuck with me. She said, "Children are not half people." At times, we think a child is not as important as an adult when saved. Praise the Lord that they are saved at an early age and will be grounded in the Word. We are excited about what the Lord is doing there!
