Our trip started with a rainy day and dangerous roads. We thank the Lord for keeping us safe.We made it to Campo Grande in 10 hrs.

The car was a "little" tight wasn't it Jen? But It was warm and snuggly inside :)

Pans for sale.

What we did most of the day :)

Or take pics...

On christmas Eve we did what we do every year bake ...

and decorate sugar cookies.

At night we had a Big supper with some of dads brothers and sisters.
Here Jed and Alex are putting half of a pig to roast over the fire :)yum!!!

Mom made this pretty center piece.

The table had a turkey, roasted pig, roasted meat, roasted sausage, rice, mandioc, a potato salad, farofa and fruits. It was Great!

Let the line begin...

One of the nights we got to go to the central "feira" a market which sells "everything" Most of the stuff there was really cheap because it comes from Bolivia and Paraguai.

Jess and Alex

The "Highlight" of our trip was going to Wal-Mart :)

Look at the Happy faces!!!

Does this look like a river to you??? Believe it or not it is a road!

It rained alot while we were there.

I feel sorry for the people who have to go through it to get to their homes.

Getting rid of the Christmas supper :)

The "Man"!

Jess,Jen,Jan,and Jed.

We had a Great Christmas we hope that you did too.

Looks like loads of fun!! Where's your Walmart "smiley face sticker" your supposed to get when you go to Walmart??
Your Christmas day meal looks delicious! The twins wanted Chuhascu (I am sure I mispelled that...) for their "birthday meal " (Dec. 23). I cheated and cooked it on the grill since it was pouring rain.... We have everything but the farofa. We must have run out.... Anyway, the only thing that would have made it better would have been having your family with us!!!!!!!!
