Mother's Day

For Mother's Day yesterday we did a few special things at church.

The kids in Sunday school made a flower to give their moms

After the service at night, we had a sweet time of sharing, as each child that wanted, came up and said somethings to their mothers.

There were lots of hugs

Some of them waxed poetic... and had their moms all in tears :-)

Each mother got a small gift

They sang a special song

We three 'girls' threw together a little impromptu - a silly song about all the work Moms do and how we are grateful for it all!

Happy Mother's Day

Hi Duartes,

Looks like you had a great Mother's Day!

Guess who's stopped by to visit us? You can see at Evan's last blog post at http://evanseconomics.blogspot.com/2009/05/i-like-to-i-pass.html

They were passing through while traveling for a funeral. . .

Hope you're all well.
